Firstly, remove the grills and burners of the hob, then remove the knobs by simply pulling them. If it’s present, the glass covering the burners must be removed, including the brackets. Now let’s proceed with the removal of the steel cover. To do this, we must unscrew all the screws located near the burners (see image).
Probably the screws are dirty with grease, thus hindering the insertion of the screwdriver. In these cases, the screw insert must be cleaned with a pin or something similar. If rust or oxide has invaded the screws you may need an unlocking spray, facilitating unscrewing. In these cases it’s recommended to give two hammer blows on the screwdriver, to free the thread from the oxide.
Now that we’ve removed all the screws, we take a screwdriver (with a large cut) and we leverage the sides of the steel cover. Here is how looks like the interior of our hob (see image).
